How to Create a 30 Day Social Media Action Plan
One of the easiest ways to build momentum on social media is to create a 30 day action plan. This gives you structure, keeps you consistent, and takes away the stress of not knowing what to post next.
Start by deciding on a posting frequency. Three times a week is a good balance for most salons. That means you will need around 12 posts for your 30 day plan. List them out before the month begins.
Your plan might look like this:
- 4 transformation posts showing your work
- 4 tips or advice posts for clients
- 4 personal or team posts to show your salon’s personality
Once you have this outline, prepare your content in advance. Capture photos and videos during appointments, write your captions, and store everything in a folder. Then schedule or plan your posts in a calendar.
A 30 day plan also makes it easier to track results. At the end of the month, review which posts got the most engagement or bookings. Use that information to adjust next month’s plan. Over time, you will build a system that gets better results with less effort.
Three steps you can take now
- Write down your next 30 days of posts in a calendar or notebook.
- Prepare your content in batches so it is ready to go.
- Review your results at the end of the month to improve your plan.
A simple 30 day plan keeps you consistent and helps you see real progress.
